Kate joined the Public Authority of Marin’s Governing Board in July 2009. She currently is an instructor at the College of Marin teaching English as a second language. Before joining the College of Marin faculty, Kate taught English at the Academy of Art College in San Francisco. She is a graduate of the University of Connecticut and obtained her Masters of Arts from the University of San Francisco.
Kate is excited to bring educational insight to the Board. She has perspective and understanding of the workforce and the societal issues that surround English as a second language for both consumers and providers.
